We are delighted to continue our support of the Nottinghamshire Live Education Awards, celebrating success in local education. This is an opportunity to shine a light on the hard work that students and teachers do throughout the year, which sometimes goes unnoticed. We are particularly pleased to be sponsoring the new Arts and Humanities award category in recognition of the importance of subjects like history, English, languages and music for education - and beyond.
The Arts and Humanities offer a rich diversity of opportunities within the curriculum, which help us to understand what it means to be human, and assist us to articulate ourselves clearly, apply ourselves creatively, and work collaboratively. The broad range of skills acquired through the Arts and Humanities are valuable in all sorts of contexts, and Nottingham, as a highly creative city, is a great place to study them.
